💻 Role Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Staff Engineer – Storage Drivers (Linux/ESX) to lead the development and optimization of enterprise-grade storage drivers.

This role requires deep expertise in kernel programming, storage protocols, debugging, and performance tuning across Linux and VMware ESX environments.

🛠 What You’ll Do

• Lead development and maintenance of ESX/Linux storage drivers
• Design and optimize drivers for iSCSI, FCoE, and FC protocols
• Develop and enhance kernel modules for low latency and reliability
• Drive advanced kernel debugging and troubleshooting efforts
• Handle escalated customer issues and provide technical solutions
• Optimize storage driver performance and remove bottlenecks
• Mentor junior engineers and guide technical execution
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and QA teams
• Maintain detailed technical documentation

✅ Required Skills

• Strong expertise in C/C++ programming
• Extensive experience with Linux/ESX kernel internals
• Deep understanding of iSCSI, FCoE, and FC protocols
• Strong kernel debugging and troubleshooting experience
• Experience with GDB, crash dumps, and system logs
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
• Experience leading engineering teams/projects

⭐ Preferred Skills

• Experience with VMware ESX storage stack and driver development
• Knowledge of SAN and NAS architectures
• Expertise in performance tuning and benchmarking tools
• Strong understanding of storage technologies and system optimization

🎓 Qualification

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
